I believe it is now all bitumen as is the road to Cooktown

Nah...The road turns to dirt about 500m north of Cape Trib for about 30km, then its bitumen again from there.

jesus get them fitted already tried to put my down and out sticker on last night... messed up 3 of them before I gave up... the rounded corners on the back windscreen are a bitch... spacers arrived yesterday but don't know where to buy longer wheel bolts, the ones at auto barn are too short.

Haha, they won't be on until NEXT Saturday (28th March), because I need the centre bores machined out to 57.1mm (they are 56mm currently). Also, I want to clean them before they go on, and that takes time.

With the down'n'out sticker, I got mine enlarged and done as a silver decal (not that clear backed sticker crap). They stuffed it up when they resized it so I hacked at with a razor blade (how emo ), and now it looks awesome. I ended up putting mine on the back windscreen up the top in the middle.

It took me 2 goes to cut the sticker right but i finally got it right. I now have 2 spare silver down'n'out stickers that are 100mm wide.

I made like 20 before I finished up at my old job, made 20 or so dubway and the shocker stickers too (only messed up one of each of those so far ) all on white vinyl once I get them on the car without messing them up they'll be up for grabs

ok finally all in stalled (tip and intercooler to body hose), my first impressions were that it didnt do much , but i cant help but think its got a lil more high end torqu, well it feels like it anyway.

Also Picked my car up today from quattro's with the oettinger tune and acouple of small things done...And the power delivery with the tune is so smooth, The current tyres are just holding onto the tarmac...and I mean JUST, awesome amount of torque, Im looking at around 315-20Nm, Thats as much as a stock mk4 R32!!!! im really loving this, I recommend for anyone with the TDI Polo.
