Yep, there are only VERY FEW sets around that are 5x100, and I have one of them. I measured it last night and it's definitely a 100mm diameter. You measure it from the centre of one of the stud holes straight across to where the centre of another stud would be on the other side right (5 stud so it's sort of a guestimate where the hole would be - but it was definitely heaps less than 114.3)? You don't measure it from the outer edge of the stud hole do you?
No, the X marks what not to measure! you don't measure the distance between each stud hole. The distance between each stud hole is only about 60-70mm for a 5x100 wheel. You measure the whole way across the stud pattern, which is why its called PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter).
Think of a Porsche PCD being 5x130. Can you imagine a 130mm gap between each stud .....thats huge!
