Finally! lol Glad we managed to get those done hey.

I finally got my Bilstein B8 shocks and springs fitted along with a whiteline RSB and believe it or not I am not entirely happy with the outcome. I would like someone with the same setup to comment but this is the result I got:
The front has come down only 15mm whilst the rear has come down almost 40mm!! Whats up with that? The back now sits lower than the front and looks kinda strange. Maybe its just the stock rims and worn front tyres but when I checked out 'Chipped's car with the same setup I really can't remember his looking anywhere near what mine now looks at. His has 17" rims but I wouldn't have thought this would make much difference.
I can't help but think I have ruined the look. It just doesn't look right to me. Anyone what to comment?
Peformance wise it brakes awesomely and its pretty flat around corners but again not a lot of difference over the stock setup. To say I am underwhelmed is an understatement at this stage. Perhaps I need to drive a bit more.

          • Just took a bunch of pics to find out they're to large! lol back I go..
By the way on second looks at my car is there a chance the front end has 'settled' into the spring? The front still sits higher but doesn't look quite so pronounced now a few hours post install. Either that or I am quite mad...no comments on that please! lol

Ok the pics are still too large on the smallest resolution. How does one reduce them?

            • well i would imagine (and by all means correct me if im wrong) that if theres more wieght in the front of the car adventually it will settle in to evan out anyway. how long this would take is anyones guess.

I say you'ld need to let it settle no way should you have that sort of different, how long have they been in for?

I put my H&R springs in and both the front and back dropped right down straight away. Hasn't really moved much since.

That seems odd about the Bilsteins though.... if they haven't moved after a week i'd be wondering what is going on.

Yeah I think I may do that. They've been in a couple of hours plus a 20 drive. Road's are too busy now for a proper workout. Might gone for a thang later this evening.

Sorry should of read properly but no way something must be wrong I only had the springs and RSB put in and there is a huge difference to stock

Yeah I'm reserving judgement until I take it for a thorough workout. The drive I had was in traffic so I really wasn't able to push it around corners. It is very flat though in accelerating and the braking is a massive improvement but cornering I guess I haven't had a real go at at a decent speed. But normal speeds certianly not a lot of difference going around corners.

yeah take it for a hard run you'll notice the difference if not take some round abouts a full speed

Mozzy use photobucket or the like to host the pics. Its the best option as i dont think when doing it that way you can have a pic to large.

                              • Guys... just a question while we r on the suspension settling... My Eibachs dont look 2 much lower (if any!) on my car...
I know the drop is 20mm... but just wondering about the whole "settling" topic... does this actually happen or not?? coz ive read contradicting views on the net...
                                Thanks!
