    • Limiter is around 7200-7300rmin. I have bounced off it ...... a few times.

Once the intake side has been sorted it makes good power all the way to the limiter.

Bouncing off the rev limiter will not hurt the engine...

          • well got suspension fitted today and was going all well, driving home started making scraping noise so checked it out at home. Front left coilover as slipped down probs 1.5-2cm through that clamp which secures it near the wheels causing a bolt to rub on inside of tyre. Also bent the part on suspension which holds the cables for the abs.

have to take it back to place i got it done tomorrow and see what they do about it. Not to happy though.

sorry to hear that mate sucks big time, hopefully they do the right thing and sort it out, i would also take it somewhere else before/after and make sure nothing else is damaged

Stupid guy with the long hair I bet. It looked so good tho Hopefully should be an easy fix, just a tightening of the clamp thingy.

yeah i would like too take it somewhere else first but bit stretched for time cause of tafe tomorrow, so will see what they will do about it. Should be quick enough fix i hope and can just wait around while they fix it up.

hopefully doesn't fall apart as i drive it there tomorrow, interesting calling around for quotes too. place next door to the one i got it done at wanted over $250 more for same job, but then again maybe higher price = less issues

                  • Sound like the forgot to put in the securing bolt that clamps the Hub structure to the Strut...Maybe not a good Idea to drive it. Put it on a truck, and get the suspension place to pay for it.

serious?,.........thats the only reason i havnt been doing it. well that and the fact that i havnt done the intake or had it chipped so didnt see much gains past 5500. ill have to give her some stick after i get my seat intake, forge tip through the mail. chip and exhaust will wait after i get the fmic hopefully in the next few weeks.

                          • herd back about why the suspension slipped down, apparently the clamp which holds it near the wheel has cracked and bent the bolt which holds it together pretty badly. undriveable till friday when new part comes.

they said they didnt know what could have caused it as I hit no pot holes ect on way home, he suggested it may have had a hairline crack in it prior to new suspension, should i take the broken part to vw and see what they say about it?

before and after picture a mate took (btw is getting vr6 this weekend)

Plautos, i am very jealous of that ferrari, must have been great

                              • I didn't scam anybody!

I was scammed! The idea was to ride a Maserati Trofeo (yellow). I race with this car in 2006.

But when I arrived in the track the team offered me the F430 GT3. I couldn’t say no...

                                Very good experience, amazing car…

In the Saturday, was the qualifying in the morning, I did the second time, stay behind a Porsche GT3.
In the afternoon was the first race, in the first corner I already was leading the race. I was being chased by the Maserati Light (green) and the Porsche GT3.

The second race was 30min after the end of the first, I start in the pole position, and stay there to the end.

I didn’t drive the Ferrari, the Ferrari drove me! The car was far superior from the other competitors and from my driving capabilities.

I need to practice a lot!
