can some one explain the deception thingy to me see so many cars with it now.

I can't speak for everyone that has them but in my case 'Team Deception' is a group of mates with modified cars (to various levels) that still appear stock from the outside (hence they are deceiving). We get together for street meets and will soon be starting to do some car shows ie Autosalon. We also like Transformers so instead of calling ourselves 'Team Sleeper' which sounds quite gay we decided on Deception and tied the Decepticon logo into it for something a little different.

To each their own, you either love it or hate it.

There may be some Subaru's down there. If they have just the Decepticon logo then we probably don't know them. It's hard to keep track of who has one as we all have different cars and as such are members of different forums.

And non turbo Impreza's like the one I have seen here in base(he has badly gutter rashed silver ones)...They look Crap, in Chrome by the way(as any Chrome wheel dose)...I'm going to leave off the center caps. Thanks for clarifying the name too, I couldn't for the life of me remember them.

i got a surprise from a nice lil sleeper the other night driving to work, some one had decided to make there own wrx out of a rs imprezza, apart from the turbo sounds i would have said it was nothing but a run of the mill family car.

are there many members of 'deception ' up here in qld? or is it localised to syd and melb?

Washed the car and went to the drags...Did a best of 15.3 @ 90.06MPH...Not impressed, and had serious traction issues, as most people did on the night. I really wanted to break into the 14's.....

washed and amouralled the door seals today. washed away any excess dirt away from the engine/engine bay .(yep i know im anal about cleaning lol)
washed rims and callipers too,...now you can actually see those red lil devils

I was feeling a bit juvenile today and took on an extremely pumped up boy racer Nissan Skyline - well sort of. Hehe. Wasn't really pushing it to the extreme either but it was hellishly funny watching this guy freak out. Not sure what model - I think the GTS-T but he had it all kitted out with an overlly obnoxious fat and loud exhaust and BOV. Anyway it just cracked me up seeing/hearing the reaction I got out of him and I wasn't even trying.

Like I said, very slick track...5 weeks worth of rain up here washed alot of the strip. Alot of people were having trouble getting traction though.
