Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I looked at mine with no engine in, again. There is a strong possibility of getting the turbo tomorrow and then I will be looking at providing proof of life on Monday.
Fingers crossed Gav, I'm looking forward to seeing it in action in november!

I can't really make sense of their website.
                      i sort of did.

they print t-shirts, then, they have friends who:

                      - have small mom-n-pop outfits who also print t-shirts
                      - import t-shirts and hats from brands like stanceworks / fat lace (similar "business endeavour", as far as i can see)
                      - have started online parts ordering companies, minus the efficiency of drop-shipping (don't confuse this with dub-addiction, who utterly kick orse, tim is a proper, real business person who's focussed around his clientele, hence the repeat business and folks who just like to hang out there).
                      - have friends who know how to work iTunes and feed it into an electronic CD turntable, who also wear small shorts and are female
                      - are asian females who wear small short pants and singlets, who are happy to get their hair and make up done for a car event
                      - make cup cakes at home, with a view to turn this into a global empire.

= and everyone back-links in to everyone else in the list above, on their websites.

sorted. no offence, and more power to you - the social aspect alone would be fun.

one thing i fail to comprehend in my complete stupidity, is why none of the photographers are also being propped? i mean... dont you buy a DSLR, set up a tumblr/ online blog and a facebook page, and turn it into a "business"?

i ponder why none of those "businesses" are being promoted via this medium as well?

                      good game, all the same.

Hmm sounds a bit gay, are you just pleased it was just the clamp let go?

                          Comment

                          • Those spring clamps are $hit (and a bitch to install/remove with pliers or multigrips). I can only imagine that they make assembling the car a few seconds quicker per clamp when used with the proper tool.
