New Bilstein coilovers in (threw the rear adjusters away!)

 Ferodo DS2500s on

 Slotted rotors on

New Bridgestone RE002s on (they hacked my wheels, thanks)

Wheel alignment - still not right though.

Harnesses go in this weekend Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two. Cheap, Fast, Reliable. Choose two.

Started by wiping down the window surrounds to install my weathershields and ended up doing:- a snow foam pre-wash
- two bucket shampoo
- pressure rinse
- towel down
- full clay bar
- and seal/glaze

(I was bored and it started raining just after I'd finished rinsing so I just kept going ) )

Troy will read this and say BULL$HIT!! Last edited by kaanage; 03-08-2013, 06:16 PM.Resident grumpy old fart Last edited by kaanage; 03-08-2013, 06:16 PM.Resident grumpy old fart

You've seen how I normally neglect the exterior of my car, Troy

Family had me tied to the house but without a lot to do...

Anyway, I tried to record my efforts last night but it didn't work very well

So I went out with the camera again this morning and unfortunately, all the cleaning did was bring out the nicks, scratches and swirl marks

Finally installed the vented rear brakes (TT / VRS / Mk4 Anniv).
Struggled with a few items along the way (dificult bolts, caliper retracting process, originally tried the quattro carriers and spacers - does not work) but all good now.

Whilst peak braking performance is probably no different, the more even braking bias is noticeable. That was the focus, the nose heavy toy does not need and more weight shift to the front). At 52k kms my rear rotors still look new, 25% of the original pads left.
