hi michael, i have the same car as you

just a question - are you running a boost gauge? because i know the GTI boys love their bigger dump pipes / exhausts etc, but i know on tdiclub there's a lot of talk of boost creep/ boost spikes/ blown turbos, when the vnt15 (bv/kp39 in our cars) is mated to larger diameter dump pipes.

if i'd been able to find any dyno benefit from having panel filter + dump pipe, i would have done it LONG ago, however according to discussion in the context of vnt15's, it seemed like there were longevity issues.

though I have a bluetooth diagnostic code reader, connected to my phone
I'll keep an eye on the boost from now on

You should be on that series where they're looking for the next V8 supercar driver - just stupendously awesome.

I used 4.6 litres of diesel over 118km today in an economy run.

Running 205/45/16 Federal RS-Rs. They've held up quite well considering the price, I've done 3 hard track days and about 10,000kms daily driving and there is still a substantial amount of tread left.

I want to upgrade to full semi slicks but no $$$

Any Polo boys in Brisbane have a VCDS scanner or laptop/software I can borrow (or even just meet me somewhere and run a scan)? Car threw a CEL today and need to find out what it is. Hoping it's just a bung resistor or something in my SAI delete.
