Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled
After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.
Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before.
We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

FINALLY fitted the 42DD bushes to my Forge short shifter - having to rebuild the pivot arm was annoying. Thank god I'd looked at the handy videos that Greg Roles had on this on his Carformance website.Last edited by kaanage; 05-03-2012, 08:19 PM.Resident grumpy old fart

Not bagging them out, but the guys at pedders told me get any other camber tops than the Kmac. Van has them and they seem fine.
The guys at pedders said they did some on a Audi TT and they fell apart and damaged the car. Good Luck
I think I will wait and get the KW ones, even tho they are $$$
Nice to see you spending some serious cash thereMODS- TOO MANY

Decided to take the LaminX off my headlights because they were just too dark and didnt feel it was doing any justice for the look I'm going for.
When I started peeling it off it left horrible marks and that sticky sh%t on my headlights,
So after two days of scrubbing I still couldn't get if off 100% and my lights were scratched from all the rubbing and scraping and left my lights looking all smokey and yellow.
I bit the bullet and got myself a set of GTI/Vivo(SA) headlights which iv been wanting for awhile now but was NOT keen to do the swop......
..........Mission!!!!!!!!!!
Gun-Smoked LaminX
Bumper off
Ultimate Rat.....
Old Headlights...
Bumper re-fitted (lights - off)
(Lights On, HIDs dont look green anymore...+1
Was such a mission but totally worth it,
I followed the below DIY step-by-step guide, its very well detailed. If any of you guys are wanting to remove your front bumper on a Polo 9n3....and if you guys wana install a Forge FMIC, thats in there too, lol!!
