    looks very nice mate!

whats every1's thoughts on getting the whole bonnet black instead of a strip like the one above?

Cheers mate!! I thought about getting the whole bonnet done, but IMO, I really think the way it is now looks the best. I also considered doing it as a decal, but when I had my accident, the opportunity came up for me to get the bonnet done the way I wanted, and it only cost me a few beers, cos the other blokes insurance was paying for the repairs to my car.

If I had a white Polo I'd have the bonnet done like that + the roof. I've seen a few in europe which look great.

i've thought about the navy before. i think on the navy Polo a white (or beige) bonnet and roof needs to be done, but to make it look good it needs the red stripe to follow over as well...just a couple of centimetres in from the edge of the paint.

i am contemplating the red stripe on my car.....photoshop anyone??

I was very close to getting the red stripe done as a decal on mine also. I still may do it yet. I would get it as a decal, so if it didn't look good, I could remove it pretty easily.

Nahhh, fuel is dear enough without HAVING to use 98 RON. Besides, no auto option with GTI or TDI, remember Julia drives it 90% of the time.

Yes, we stopped off at Solitaire Automotive today to begin the process of buying a 5-door, 1.6, 77 killawasp Polo with the 6 speed auto (either Flash Red or Candy White).

We have some money laundering to do, sell the black Polo and wait for the 2009 editions to be built in South Africa, beginning in June.

Seat hight adjuster that Julia wants will be standard, ESP is an option with the Safety Package, which I want. Still thinking of the front fog lights.

Towbar and Ipod connector are the only other options I may take, but I am definately looking at factory 15" wheels. I have to work out whether it's cheaper to buy through spare parts (where I get good deals, or just get the Polo delivered with them on).

This process can take up to 4 months.

We concidered selling both the T4 & Polo and buying a Kombi Beach, but the numbers were BIG, even with a $6K discount.

                            • Is ESP on Aussie Polos (bar the polo GTI) ? thats news to me......

Its not Electronic Brake Distrubution (EBD) your thinking of ?

If you wait another 12-24mths you may be able to buy them on runout or buy the new one
