            • I failed to mention that I'm going to look at some rims for a mates SP23. However I might be tempted...but I'd get 18's.

No need to start a poll. This was taken Tuesday

They're not OZ rims. They are Sport Technic Mono10Vision.

                  • Is that the site you got them from? Or did you buy them here?

                    • The previous owner bought them. He had a mate who worked at BEL garage and got them through him. They took a long time to arrive...

There's a guy in ACT with a MKV GTI(Number plates "DG") that has some Sport Technics as well, same style just with dish. Not sure if he uses VWW tho.

1 hour or so. longest part is getting the gauge holder drilled down where u want it.

                              $62 gauge (autobahn)
                              $25 +/- Gauge pod (autobahn)
and a few coins for zip ties and wires.

                              • I bought a digital tyre/tire pressure gauge today. I've had my GTI for almost three weeks and I wanted to know what the "stock" pressure was before I played around with it to suit my needs.

Turns out, the dealer didn't know either and gave me a range of choices.

                                Front Right: 35 psi
                                Front Left: 41 psi
                                Rear Right: 48 psi
                                Rear Left: 39 psi

I couldn't believe it. Thought for sure my gauge was faulty. Went straight to a servo with an digital air compressor and turns out the numbers were accurate.

I decided to set them all on 37 psi to see how it goes. I pulled out of the servo and I couldn't believe how much smoother the ride was. All this time I figured it was just the stiffness of the suspension, but now it's perfect.
