ha ha ha wheel addiction ..my fav rims on your car were the Oz, the broke up all the black, looked mean too maybe we should run a poll "Should Flaps put his Oz rims back on?"
I put my Forge strut brace on...Cheers Shane...Havn't driven with it yet, cos I went to my local just after I put it on, then went to another pub, then got home at 4am, and I am still a bit tipsey, so I wont be driving for a few hours...

I bought a digital tyre/tire pressure gauge today. I've had my GTI for almost three weeks and I wanted to know what the "stock" pressure was before I played around with it to suit my needs.
Turns out, the dealer didn't know either and gave me a range of choices.
Front Right: 35 psi
Front Left: 41 psi
Rear Right: 48 psi
Rear Left: 39 psi
I couldn't believe it. Thought for sure my gauge was faulty. Went straight to a servo with an digital air compressor and turns out the numbers were accurate.
I decided to set them all on 37 psi to see how it goes. I pulled out of the servo and I couldn't believe how much smoother the ride was. All this time I figured it was just the stiffness of the suspension, but now it's perfect.
