VW: it aint just a car, its a way of life There are few things more satisfying in life than finding a solution to a problem and implementing it

So today, with my Polo... I gave it a solid clean inside and out and a big hug - poor thing got attacked by a Ford driving psychopath in a road rage incident on the M1 yesterday.
Dude was tailgating me for no apparent reason, so I just lifted my foot off the accelerator and let the car slow to about 80km/h to piss him off, then dropped a gear and floored it as a bit of a cheeky "f-you, don't tailgate me" to the guy. Oldmate appears a minute or so later in my rearview mirror right up my ass, and then pulls up along side (at 100km/h), yelling out the window, giving the finger etc. My mate and I in the car figured he was just a bit of a ****, so were ignoring him... He then reached into his footwell, pulled an unknown object out and threw it into the side of my car. And then likewise a second time.
He then continued harrassing us on the road, and merged into our lane over the top of my car at 110km/h, forcing us off the road onto the shoulder and very nearly into the concrete divider. Forcing us to a stop (blocking the right hand lane of traffic), the crazy prick jumped out of his car and started on foot back towards us (obviously with no intention to initiate a friendly chat), but fortunately I was able to duck the Polo out behind his ****ty Focus, and once I could give the little GTI some juice the guy had no chance of catching back up.
Fortunately a guy in another vehicle on the road started videoing on his phone after he saw the guy throwing **** at my car, so the police are investigating.
Meanwhile I have two new dings in the side of my car. What a ****.
Something like that happened to me before, but i've learnt since then that despite my incredible urge to slow down/tap the brakes to piss them off, that its better to just let them pass when possible and avoid conflict like that.
Luckily you werent hurt, hope the guy gets what is coming to him.

Yeah kangfu I totally agree, in hindsight I should have just let it slide, but I don't take well to discourteous idiots unfortunately, haha. Regardless, his reaction was way out of proportion to my act.
