Will we be having another polo at timeattack next year??? They look the business.
When I spoke with MCA they only offered custom work with a price tag suit.
Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII Daily: 2010 VW Jetta Highline Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI

It's all mega adjustable Pete. Front damping adjusters are a bit tight to access due to the camber, but a drill would fix that.
I got there at 930 and left at 4. Anyone else following this path could order off the shelf. They would send out a kit based on measurents taken from the squib.
Rear damping is possible just below the top mounting. Accessible with the back jacked up over the wheel.
I opted for a stiffer spring at the back, as the maths was right between 2 options. Josh felt it would be better from a suspension point of view to run with the seats and spare in. As it would improve weight distribution.
Also might be flogging the sway bar. Form a line............
Further updates next week.
So when you say you went with a stiffer spring at the back, was that stiffer than what they normally offer for the polo or stiffer compared to the relative spring rates that you had with the H&R's?

Mine is the first Polo they have seen. The calculations they made were between 2 standard spring rates. So I went with the stiffer of the 2. Spring rates of the H & R springs not considered at all during the install.
Ok, been out this morning, got email on my phone from Auspost about a missed delivery. Chuff.
Get another email, parcel ready for pick up at the PO.
Superpro bushes, ordered Tuesday.
Of course I wasted no time and fitted the pair of them in an hour! No test drive yet but TBH they can't be worse than standard VW ones. What the f were they thinking when they fitted them? The Seat ones should have been standard issue FFS.
The Superpro one are listed as being anti-lift but if they stay pointing straight enough to not scrub the inside edge off the left tyre I'll be happy.
I am not a big one for taking photos during the job, so sorry this is all I took.
Nasty VW V Seat
Bought the tool to remove and fit with the subframe in situ.
EDIT
Just wanted to update the thread on the Superpro bushes. I have driven, standard, Seat and Superpro in a reasonably short space of time. Without a doubt the standard ones are a massive fail. You could feel the front left especially going all over the place under power, tram lining etc.
The same was a little true of the Seat bushes, but that was in Anthony's car with a fair bit of extra power.
The Superpro are well planted all the time, the car feels much more stable through bends. No horrible noises, so definitely liveable in a daily driver. Obviously, I'll have to keep and eye on then with respect to longevity but I don't see it being a big deal here.
There's a bit of a cost increase over the Seat bushes, fitting time would be the same though.
I thought I would do an update on the Superpro bushes. Been in there 2 years and no signs of any problems. Just as good as the day they were fitted. Still no horrible noises.
Good to hear as ive had to swap some out, mainly due to poor installation and lack of the right lube., Seen some shockers. Ill stick to the Seats myself seeing as its only an extra couple of bolts and the console is out. Cant comment on the ones ive sold where they have been installed elsewhere but repeat cars ive made a point of having a good look and some have made it into the very high ks

You do need to push the Superpros through to the back off the console. Which the tool doesn't do in one operation. Otherwise, apart from the materials degrading, how do they fail Jimmy?
The Seat ones I took out of the Little Red Devil, are back on the street. Which goes to prove they can take a bit of use.

No lub or the wrong lub and all chewed out, and creaking like mad. More than one set.
Not at all surprised the Seat ones are back on the street at all

Hey jmac I installed a stage 1 bush kit from ecs with no lub when I installed my coilovers and I think I may have overtightened the top bearing on my mk4 golf. I get alot of creaks over bumps and alot when I brake, could the lack lub be the problem?
I took Squib for a drive when Gav came to visit the other day. Without being rude it would seem Gav has accidentally pushed Squib into rat-development-chic territory and created quite a unique driving experience. My Polly has a CC Stage III setup with all the bits but I tried hard to keep it civilised (stealth) and consequently apart from a slightly too high idle, you'd be hard pressed to know the car wasn't stock. In contrast, Squib cranks slow before lighting, vibrates hard at idle with a shift throw shortened and refined to rear drive snickety snick standard. Exhaust noise is tolerable but hardly quiet and there's a few buzzes here and there as harmonics arrive and fade across the thaco. Its very hot-rod. Boost comes earlier than my FT but feels like it runs out of go a little sooner too. My fifth gear feels a bit more responsive too, but we could certainly put that down to ambient temperature. Squib is more urgent on boost, and feels to have more torque. If grip weren't a concern I think it'd be quicker corner to corner. Certainly once into the corner there'd be no contest. Gav's new dampers are very nice once the front outside tyre is loaded up, though they haven't cured the imprecise Polo turn-in. I might be shopping for a set of these with different (custom?) spring rates. Squib is race firm on the road, which doesn't communicate much until its settled on turn in, but it does this quickly, and trimming the car mid corner with throttle or wheel is particularly satisfying and my main motivation to buy some myself. Gav has some room to move with rear springs, and is investigating now, but I'd still go a whole rate lower at the front and then the rear to keep it palatable whilst fetching milk. So, now I'm buying some shift linkage bits and shocks I think...
