Nice work with the fog delete.
Hopefully you can get a feel for how well it cools the brakes on Sunday.

Actually Al there's loads on it, bad focus I guess. Although if I were made of money, I'd probably get some new ones as I feel they have gone off with time. They'll be 2 years old in the new year and have had lots of use. Over 30K km easily as a set. The back got tortured today and have rolled up great, like semi slicks.Originally posted by Polo GTEye N9 View PostHey Gav, the photo showing front tire, looks like not much tread left on it.... Cool air to the brakes is better than fogs. Cheers Al

I knew you would not risk dodgy tires.. The Polo is not hard on tires, just the driver is lol ESP still gets a work out in the dry. I recall driving yours with those tires and they were good. Better than mine... Cheers AlOriginally posted by h100vw View PostActually Al there's loads on it, bad focus I guess. Hi Gavin,
Just wanted to say thanks for your help yesterday. For a person not so mechanical like myself, it was nice to get the rundown on a few things and all your hints & tips. The car definitely seems to feel a bit better with the new bush.
Driving the squib was a highlight too.. That thing flies!
Cheers again

Like I said, don't be afraid to ask if you need something.

A busy day today after the school drop, up North to Landsborough and MCA suspension.
Been a while coming but now running coilovers. Ran out of time to do the alignment as I had to get home for my tea and then work.
A few pictures to keep it interesting. First impressions, even without the alignment are pretty good.
Weighing in, mostly full tank no rear seats or spare wheel.

Made me laugh

Camber plates

Assembled struts for the front

Checking and adjusting the max stroke on the strut.

Bolted in.

Whiteline rear bar removed for the time being

rear spring locator
