EGT gauge now wired up, can't call it fitted where it is right now LOL Set the alarm to 850 but that might be a bit low. The probe is in the manifold not downpipe, so will read higher than a stock located one.

My experience with egt is on 2T motorcycles; but in that application as close to the exhaust port as possible is what you aim for there so I would have thought the manifold would be better than the downpipe in this application.

I have put it in the manifold, seeing temps up to about 900ish so far but running 7PSI not 20+.

Re-racked the plug on the level sender and it seemed to be working ok, no flashing lights the next time I started it. Then..... the chuffing thing has failed again. FML. Anyway, it gives me an excuse to drop the oil out and check it for contamination.



Made up a bracket for the air filter this arvo, just waiting for the paint to dry.



Went to the shops this morning and have just driven 40km to work.

Phenominal, I really need to get my fuel trims sorted as I'd be lucky to be low/mid 7's for the same drive. Typically with air con would be 8's.
