So after I drilled and tapped the manifold, I thought I had better buy the gauge as well. I got this one in blue. should be here this week.

Another lazy day, a few little jobs on a big turbo S3. Then I spied the Polo dogbone.

I extracted the Track density bush from it using the LCA bush tool. Then pulled in the RACE bush.





Anyone that has cement in their tea going to give me $30 shipped for the bush that I took out? I don't think the vibes are that bad TBH. It is possible to tweak the idle speed up if needed, to quieten things a bit.

By the way - I hacked up the wrong oil pickup! The longitudinal is shorter by 1/2 of the transverse mounted motors... So in all essence no real need to hack away at it but I did square off the mouth just a little (no pics unfortunately). Sump all prepped and now just waiting for everything to settle before I button it all up.

A bit of work needed to get the clocking of the 3 parts right to clear the #4 runner with the water feed banjo bolt.



Took a handful of trial fits to get it right. Production versions (eventually) will be test fitted on a spare motor.

It is huge compared to the 2 inch bit at the exit to the hot wheel.

Got a BMC CDA which I was running before but thinking I might have to rethink it..... Could do like Anthony and run it with one end open and my snaky pipe to the front grille.

Wildo. I'll def try it though. I think I can either unscrew or drill rivets out to take the end off. It has 2.75 on one end and 3 inch on the other. Obviously, that goes straight into the MAF so in theory, you'd want at least the same size on the other end.
