After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Hell yeah, got to pilot the thing yesterday for a bit and geez it's totally bonkers! It hits like a charging bull after 2500rpm and just doesn't drop off at all in the top end. Really quite scary on stock suspension lol

Some good news, economy mission to work this morning. Stayed in the left lane all the way in, except for 2 occasions, where I had to overtake some real snails.
5.5L/100 which is 51.6mpg in old money.
It's almost free to come to work now.Comment

It's all in this thread Al, Phase 2, 3 inch dp and 2.5 system, paper filter, the turbo is from an A3 (doubt that makes any difference). It's all standard gear otherwise. Lowering might contribute to lower drag, marginally.Originally posted by Polo GTEye N9 View Post

Don't get me wrong, driving through Brisbane last week in traffic it was 7.8. Stopping and starting makes a fair difference.

lol, i dont look at mine often but when i do its around 11l/100 ... i just enjoy the boost too much and mine is mainly city driving.2016 MY17 Polo GTI with DA package. TMD fitted + Weather strip and Snow Screen removed otherwise dead standard.
