Email Notifications Failing (mostly Telstra)
Hello everyone. Seems there is an issue with Telstra (possible others) blocking email from our server. If you are trying to sign up I would suggest a different email if possible. If you're trying to reset your password and it fails please use the Contact Us page:
Interesting about the resistors - where's the fourth supposed to go? Two for the stuff up top, the bigger straight resistor for the wiring that plugs into the SAI pump under the inlet manifold, and where else? As I said I was following Anthony and Noone's write ups, and neither mention a fourth resistor.. I could have missed something, though, I can be a bit hasty like that at times.
Hastiness is also most likely why I lost more coolant, though it was less than others have reported.
The SAi pump mate, you use 2 of the big resistors, not enough resistance with the 1.
Cheers

It would be easier. If I do it again, thats what I will do for a while, just to make sure it does not throw codes. You'd have to clamp of the vac line too, most of us are trying to remove junk from the engine bay, so a good reason to go to the extra effort (in the long term).
Jmac, I didn't clamp anything, that would be why I lost a lot of fluid. Not experienced like you my friend.
Agreed the bay is way cleaner looking with it removed, worth the extra effort i reckon. Wasnt being smart about the coolant loss, only trying to help.

Fair enough, that was the only other thing I could think of, but I figured it was also the reason IntEng offered the larger different resistor for the SAI pump. Anyway, still no CEL after probably ~600km so if it does eventually pop up I'll chuck another one in.
Hm, wonder why no one else threw a air flow code...
Hmm would be because of the above statement, the larger one probably does do the trick.

Yeah thats probably right mate, the larger resistor probably does the trick.

Did a VCDS scan today and it came up with 16795 - secondary air injection system incorrect flow detected P0411-35-00-- so thinking of removing mine. Is that the best option? Where can I get the blanking plate and resistors from?
Cheers,
Scott

Way cheaper ditching it mate
Get all the bits from integrated engineering

I just removed one from my S3 which is the same part number. If yours is dead mine still works, sounds a bit noisy but you can have it for beer money if you need one.
