Thanks for all the info guys.

Will be deleting from missus' Polo soon.
And I want to do it to my 32 too. Jmac, do you know if the 32 SAI deletion is of a similar process and component count to the 9N SAI delete procedure?

    Thanks again

P.S. If anyone wants to combine shipping with me from Integrated Engineering, let me know please

Also, can someone defintely confirm that following all the procedures in this thread, i.e. using 4 resistors etc will result in NO CELs?
I worry about the incorrect airflow CEL (which from what I read in vortex will appear with the VR6 engines).

I'm already getting the CEL with it all attached and only 40,000km! So I guess I have nothing to lose by removing it

I can confirm from my experience that using the three resistors - 2 oval plug type 1 big straight type - from Integrated, I have not had the CEL at all in the last ~1500km.

Haha. My missus is doing the same too.
P0413 is the code its getting now...! Rubbish if you ask me. and worse for your car with lower kms.

noone has told me you two were keen on ordering a set. Let me tee something up and I will let you know.
PM me your email address and we will do an email conference.

Guys, sorry to dig up an old thread, but any one have any idea of the value of the resistors? Trying to source something locally rather than go through 'Integrated Engineering'.

Pretty sure google will tell you 330 ohms, but I had a light come back so I went to 390. Been good since. About a dollar each from jaycar.
Have a look at my cheapy build thread, pretty sure I documented it in there.

is that for the solenoid gav or the pump itself. I metered the solenoid at 36 ohms and just used a high wattage one with that value. Is that the way to go. I just taped up the pumps connector and left it open circuit.

That was answering the N112 and N249 question Sam.

No one resistors the combi valve, as it needs addressing in the tune. The Pump doesn't need a resistor, as the ECU can only see the relay in the fuse box.

oh ok I'd thought the combi solenoid needed resistoring. What a dope. Well that's about to get neater then. thanks

Sorry to dig up an old thread. Got CEL code P0411, wanting to do the sai delete, but from what I read, the only way to get rid of the CEL is to retune it? No resistor can get rid of incorrect flow CEL P0411 even after removing combi valve and sai pump? I want to do this the cheapest way possible as I'm planning to sell the car.

If your pump has failed a second-hand one is probably cheap.
I have 2 pumps at work and a good combi valve as well. Message me if interesywd. Gavin
