I might have missed something already mentioned...(been out of the forum world for a while recently), but why the change? The look of your Tig was great before...loved the wheels, the grille, lights etc....

Was it just for something new, or??

I'm with tigger on this one!

I think you've started to undo the overall smoke/tinted look of your Tig!

Something I do believe you've done better than anyone else in setting yours apart.


TBH, I wouldn't mind that weight reduction myself. Mine weigh 13.5kgs each (before tyres) and doesn't help the fuel economy.

However that particular Enkei design does make your wheels appear like 15 or 16" (at best).


Anyhow fans can be your harshest critics at times!

I got bored of the wheels.
I always wanted to get light weights but when i got the car i caved and went for replica's for ease of purchase.

Car feels much better now so i am glad i did.
Becasue of the "stepped lip" design even at 19" they look small.
Easy to clean though.

Could get them coated in gunmetal later if i don't like the silver.
It really stands out now haha.

Willl see what i feel like at a later date.

The stepped lip does make it look small.
In fact almost anything in 19" still looks small due to the 45 profile sidewall tyre.

I wouldn't want to go anything over that though as it would get very bumpy.
Not worth the look for the loss of drivability.


On the up side, the light weight wheels reduce the bumpyness transfer into the body of the car and the handling/acceleration/braking are much crisper now.

Looks really, really good! And only a bonus that you drop so much weight!

I do, however, think you should leave the black grill, and paint the Enkeis the same shadow chrome as you had before, because that colour scheme was dead set hot as hell.

Looking at options for the wheels now.

Could get them vinyl wrapped to save money and maket them easier to clean
Otherwise I can get them painted or leave them as is.

I do like the grey/black and blue look though.

Getting some quotes for wheel colouring now.
Just had to check that there weren't any embossed details i wanted a different colour (turns out the enkei detailing on the lip is just a sticker......)

Might switch the OEM lights back in the rear for a change.

Got a lot to do and not much time.

Your car looks great!

A quick question if I may... What were your thoughts on the apr exhaust? Did you find that it's become too much of an attractant to boy racers? I enjoy being a bit of a sleeper
Btw you don't happen to have a sound clip of the exhaust?

I've had cars with loud exhausts and now I'm over 30... Really not keen on something too loud... It's got to add performance above all .
