Hi guys,
Finally after about 2 years, i got my Tig.
Ever since the concept was released and the actual car came out in 08 i was hooked and knew that i was going to have one as my next car.

Joined the forums here and on vortex to get more info and ended up getting to test drive the 103TDI and the 125TSI auto's at the Austral event.

After much calling around, finally scored a good deal with Highway Auto (Andrew J) and signed the contract for my 125TSI, metalic blue, floor mats on 28 January.

Waited 118 days and i finally got to drive my new car home today.
First issue is the passenger side window light won't light up and doesn't work (will get it sorted at the free checkup)

Other than that, there is a few boxes in my room with stuff to do to the Tig.
Also have to arrange Tint and going to hit up Guy in June for some APR power liberation.

Just a tad! I had to wait until i finished studying and got a job before i could justify purchasing a depreciating asset, so the wait felt like forever.

Been giving the turbo a work out (after generous warmup time) and boy i forgot how quick off the mark the tig is.
Big rush since it's my first turbo car and the engine sound is unreal.

Hahaha i know i now, should see Guy.

But you have to get to now the 125 before you can truly appreciate the 200.

The dealer said that he was surprised when i ordered it as most f the orders/purchases are in black or silver/grey.
I am very happy with the colour choice.


Will post up some more pics when i get a chance.
Got a few quick and easy mods to do this week, only aesthetic.

Also booked in next week for passenger front window button to be fixed and window tint.

Thanks mate, it's been hell waiting so long for it.
So relieved i finally have it.
I didn't sleep much the night before pick up and even last night after i picked it up.

Shall put up some photos of the boxes and other car stuff tonight.

I can't get over how good it looks in Biscay blue pearl.
It goes from dark to medium depending on where you look.
And so far i have only seen 1 other dark blue tig in Brisbane.

Well done mate ... cant wait to see future pics of your tig !!

I hope to take some more later today when the first aesthetic mods begin to happen.

It is a really nice colour.
I believe it was the blue colour of the R32 and R36 and it always looked nice on them.

No name yet, just Tig or Tiggy.
Might get a name when i get to know her better.
