    Okay bit of an update:

Found the Australian supplier of NaviExtras maps for the Zenec unit.
Have emailed them and hope to find a solution for my map problem tomorrow.

Have got a few ideas for wheels.
I found some nice ones from Hartmann but they don't even have a contact email or anything, just an american phone number so i am still looking at wheels.

Shall try to have a play around with teh car again tomorrow night.

My bro's coming up this weekend, I can give them to him on an SD card for you and you can pick them up off him. Give me a call if you like and I'll give you his address.

        Next update:

The Australian supplier of maps for my Zenec ZE-NC2010 only provides maps for windows mobile devices not in-car gps systems.
So i have got back in contact with NaviExtra's to demand Australian maps.

Took the Tig up Mt Glorious for a test.
Pretty windy roads which it handled well, acceleration up hill was great.
The only issue was the motorbike with 2 people on it that was under the speedlimit the whole way up.

Booked in for the VW Driver training day at 8am on 25 June.
Hopefully it will give me a better knowledge of my car.

Hoping to get the next mod-box out of the way tonight.

                Awesome work.
I know Sharkie is going to be there so we will have at least 3 Tig's and all APR assisted

Hopefully i can organise a set of wheels/tyres to fit before the big day.

After the Mount Glorious trip, i defnitely feel the need for springs and rear swaybar.

Just so you know, you won't be driving your own car there .... its all their cars on the day. I believe this to be a bit of a marketing exercise, but what the hell, there will be Golf Rs to drive ...

And my wife and brother (GTI as a daily driver and Tig TSI ordered for his wife) is going as well.

I figured we wouldn't be driving our own cars.
But at least the carpark will have a few Tig's in it.

                    I wouldn't mind a go in a Golf R.

Going to head down to the car now to work on the next visual upgrade.

Okay so i have to do a bunnings run tonight to get some more torx heads.
I figured a small variety would be enough but apparently VW decided that every panel should contain a different sized torx screw/bolt so i have to get some other heads.
Hopefully they can fit into the hex socket screwdriver handle i have.

Did manage to fit the VWWC sticker though, took me a while as it was the first sticker i have ever put on a car.

Did a few more cosmetic mods to the car over the last few days.
I also managed to make my first scratch/chip on the Tiguan because i was rushing and didn't take my time.
It's only very small but i will need to get it re-painted before i give the car a wash and seal with Nanolex.

Will update with pictures tonight if i can get some in daylight (which seems to only appear when i get to work and dissapear before i get home)

You have me worried when you speak of all those tools you plan on using!!??

So what mods are planned now that involve torx heads and sockets?
                          Sounds interesting!

Hopefully all will be revealed tonight when i can get some photos.
Might ask for an early afternoon so i can get some good pictures int eh light for you all.

Also have to work out where to source some higher output bulbs.
Might try to source some Osram H7 Rallye's.

Still in correspondence to arrange possible wheels/tyres.
Hopefully that will be sorted out soon.

Due to the Canberra water restrictions I had to hide in my garage with my buckets to wash the tiggy before I applied my Nanolex sealant. Great stuff though, makes the panels very slick.

I am yet to wash it so i might wait until i get the chip painted over before i give it a proper wash.

I have only heard good things about Nanolex sealant so i will get some of that and hopefully some poorboys wheel sealant for the wheels.

Good to hear another good review of the product though
