Any sign of the hubcentrics yet?

It has been 2 weeks today since i put the money through.
USPS said the box was too small to bother scanning so they have no info.


On the upside, the guy i went through said he is chasing it up with them and if i don't have them by next week he will send another set priority at his expense.

Big Props to Takuban Motorsports for being abig help with these.
Also didn't have to pay any import duty/GST or Customs fees which was a nice surprise

I gave up on VMR becasue they couldn't give me what i was after and they seemed not to care as it would have been a big effort to organise something for someone overseas.
Have you looked into Miro or Raderwerks/Rotiform?

Yeah they don't have anything I like/can afford in 20"s. Although I haven't looked on their websites for a while.

It is a shame.
The main reason i went 19" is the nice size of tyre and the fact most wheels over that size were a bit ugly imho.

Hubrings arrived today!
Wheels are being fitted on Friday!

Got to weight them and seal them first.
Was thinknig of PPF wraping them but i may do that later.

So i weighed the wheels.
Just under 8kg each

Also surprised to find the centrecaps and valves that normally cost extra were provided in the cost.

Car has been dropped off to have the tyres stripped and switched.
Also getting a wheel balance/alignment.

I have the centrecaps at home waiting to be put on this afternoon.

Noticably more responsive in acceleration, breaking and steering input.

Old wheel weighed in at 12.5kg each.

That looks really good. Now you need to put the original colour scheme on the front grille to match it.

Working on the front grill next week.
Also could return the stock headlight surrounds but that was a bit of work haha.

Sealing the wheels now and then will get a full side on shot for you.

Now that i look at it i will definitely have to take off the front grill black coating.

Should be relatively easy.
Althought it would be easier to swap with someone in Brissy who wants a black one.

I might have missed something already mentioned...(been out of the forum world for a while recently), but why the change? The look of your Tig was great before...loved the wheels, the grille, lights etc....

Was it just for something new, or??
