Hey Clay, did you end up changing your front parker light bulbs for leds? Can't remember if you did or not. What size were they and was it a hard install? Seem to remember reading somewhere that the parklights were really hard to get in.

I haven't done it yet and i still can't find a front map light led bulb that works so i am waiting to work out what i want to do with that (probably go with the blesk option.)

Cheers Clay, was looking at some Osram bulbs for the low beams, the cool blues (5300k) look alright. You can get them for the fogs too apparently. Stupid Osram site is trying to tell me that the number plate lights take wedge bulbs :S2008 VRS Wagon. Yellow, very yellow!
Forever blowing bubbles.

Check out vortex though since they are fairly active.
Number plate lights are not wedge though

Simon, I use the blesk wedge based bulbs in the front park lights with no error codes coming up. For the rear number plate I used the cheaper but still error-free led's with no problems, and the interior I used plain non error-free led's in all fittings, but blue in the footwell lights - looks great. The front parkers are easy to get to, you just unclip and pull - with about the same force as you use as a 'pullstarter' on a two stroke mower

Had a beautiful drive home this morning, not much traffic, 14 degree air temps.
Had a bit of a play with a Dodge Nitro SRT8 but the Tig claimed it with a fair amount of ease.
Was going to wash the car on the weekend but it rained the whole time!

The Aus delivered one has a 3.7L 6 cyl engine, 151kw/314Nm.
The US version also came with a 4.0L 6cyl.
Still, it wasn't a challenge for the Tig.
Interestingly enough i am getting a little more attention from other drivers now when i drive due to the new exhaust.
Glad to hear the bulbs are still working a treat, mine are still flawless, might get another pair for the high beams.Last edited by team_v; 29-08-2011, 12:42 PM.

If i get time this week i will get a new photo for it.
Car is still dirty as since it's rained a lot here and the next car gathering is in 2 weeks so i have been putting it off.
Also gotta get a driveby soundclip of the new delete pipe.

Just thought i should add in another point about the delete pipe.
If you push the car up to 4k or more RPM you get that nice exhaust pop (DSG fart) as the backpressure changes when you shift gears which is nice.
going to try to get a driveby video for you soon as well as some better pictures.

My second set of Osram Rally bulbs arrived (ebay ones this time from Singapore)
They are installed in the high beam casings and seem to be more effective.
Will know more for sure when i use them properly over the weekend.
