There is plenty of room under the seats for amps etc with the seat drawers in place. The stock amp fits under the passenger seat with room above it with the drawer and the bluetooth fits with room for other devices with the seat drawer in place under the drivers seat.

Apologies for stealing the thread, but can someone please advise if with the stock standard base model radio and the steering wheel controls, can one flick through the preset radio stations via the up and down arrows on the RHS of the steering wheel controls? I can't seem to get it to work on mine and I would have thought that with the volume controls on the LHS, you'd at least be able to flick through the radio stations without having to take your hands off the wheel?

Even my stock standard holden commodore station wagon does this!!

Yes it should be able to - at least mine did. But from memory, you had to make sure you had the radio info displaying on the MFD - if it was displaying something else like fuel consumption etc, then I don't think it did?

RHS arrow buttons allow you to change the radio station when the MFD dislays the station.

All true, I have the base radio installed in mine at the moment.
When radio is selected, up/down on the RH steering wheel buttons will show and select a list of stations in the MFD (in the centre of the dash)(frequency only on AM, station call sign only on FM). Very nice feature.

Thanks Guys. Works a treat now. Shame you can't have the digital speedometer and radio changing function at the same time though

                        Clip

If you scroll through the MFD,while in driving mode ,not setup, one of the displays that comes up before oil temp if I remember correctly is a digital speed readout .

oil temp? I must have an "old" Tig or something. I would really like an oil temp.

Not seen it on mine. Though if you have the super dooper integrated bluetooth kit then it'll bring up another menu with this information.
There must be a way to put the Tiguan dash into "diagnostic" mode, where all the readings are available. Should be the same as the Golf...I saw the audi TT displays all that information through putting the Climatronic into diagnostic mode.

Out of curiosity what did it cost supply and installation.

As far as I know I don`t have the bluetooth option in mine. The oil and digital speed options can be selected/ deselected in the MFD data menu on mine.
