How much did you pay for your Tiguan?

Think they’ve just repriced their existing fully loaded Tiguan listings from 59,490 up to 62,990. First time I’ve seen a re-price in the upwards direction.

Pretty sure that's in line with the manufacturers recommended pricing when you build one on the VW website.

Ordered my 162TSI R-Line in Tungsten Silver with Sunroof for $57,700. I’m still not sure if I want DAP as I think I’m not going to use it. Can anyone help convince me that I need to add it in??

I use my DAP features on my 162 as much as anything else, in particularly the blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise, traffic jam assist and lane keep assist. It assists greatly on the highway and in traffic and I couldn’t live without it! No chance I’d pay $57k for a car without adaptive cruise these days!

Man, do it. Simple as that, you wont regret it. I have your spec'ed car with DAP and it just makes the car feel premium. Now that i have it, i couldn't think about going back to the old school instrument cluster.

Feels wierd driving without it and not having the car slow itself down. I use it all the time. If anything this is the option you shouldn't be considering not having as most consider no sunroof before DAP. But everyone is different..

Oh I didn’t realise DAP included the active info display. It’s an absolute game changer - the combination of all of the features in the pack make it worth far, far more than $2k in my opinion!

I 100% agree with this. When you go to sell it in a few years time Adaptive Cruise will be standard across the range on new cars (it already is in Subaru) and people will expect it. If your car doesn't have it then it will be "old tech".

Wow another great reason to get it. Actually, because I’m on a budget, I might delete the sunroof and replace it with DAP.
