Just noticed that a few dealers are listing the fully loaded as $59,990 - maybe some discounting with the MY19 newly released?

I put the screws into a dealership this afternoon for an in stock fully loaded indium 162 r-line, who would not budge from $61.5k! Told them to have a think about it over the weekend and come back to me when they are willing to negotiate.

I reckon I know which dealer you’re talking about - in Melbourne’s east......? When I was looking back a few months ago, they had 3 fully loaded Indium Grey Highline’s in stock, one which had been there for 7 weeks. I said to the sales guy I was ready to deal and he told me straight out, no deals and that they would sell for $62990. Funny enough, one of them was advertised a month later for $61490 with 200kms on clock.
Arrogant sod. That was the last straw for me and I started to contact brokers recommended on this forum.

I said to the sales guy I was ready to deal and he told me straight out, no deals and that they would sell for $62990. Haha I think I know who and where that is as well. Guess what, they still (or again..) have 3 fully loaded indium grey highlines in stock, and still have a similar attitude.

Nah this one is north. I'm not sure how all you guys are getting such good deals when these guys seem happy to let us walk without any sort of negotiation. Takes all the fun it of it! Anyway heading away for the next week I can wait until after that before I start looking somewhere else.

Just a quick question: how long is the rego on your new car when you buy it from the dealer?
On my invoice it just says that Rego is included in the price of a new car (assuming 12 month). Went online to check and what a surprise, it's only valid until October, making it 6 months since purchase.

I checked mine on vicroads website last week, 12 months.

Nah, I think both QLD and NSW dealers can register for 6 months to keep costs down.

Check your contract. It should have the amount of registration cost itemised. That’ll tell you if you got what you paid for.

I know it’s not the best feeling to find out that you’ve not got what you thought you should have. Not much you can do now other than be aware of these dealer “tricks” for next time.

That's the point, nothing is listed in the contract quote, just says stamp duty and registration is included in the cost.

Well I guess technically they’re correct but I agree it’s a bit of a dodgy thing to pull on a customer.
