How much did you pay for your Tiguan?

I’d be interested to learn more about the inclusion of what people were describing as ‘5 year care’ or similar.

I assume that it’s where you agree to multiple years of VW servicing and get a discount. Which I can find on the VW website.

Does anyone have a rough idea of the $ value of getting this included, and is this just a sweetener during COVID or is it something that can always be on the negotiation table?

Picked up Tiguan Allspace 110TSI with all packages and 5 years care plan for $51888 on Friday.

Rear passenger windows appear to be tinted but we never asked for this from the fleet company. They are much darker than front windows.
Boot window is darker than front two windows but not as dark as rear passenger windows.

It came with mats but the mats dont have any VW reference on them. They are plain but nice and do the job. They clip into place in the front and just sit on the floor in the back.
First VW sorry so not sure what is standard and what isnt.

Will PM you the dealer details and the Fleet company we used.
Only time we spoke to dealer though was when they arranged for car to be driven to our place.

Lease paperwork breaks down the price as follows for my White MY20 Allspace Highline 162 with all 3 options:
(All ex GST)

Retail Price = $47,718.18
Options = $7,272.72
Discounts available = -$6,018.63
Dealer Delivery = $795
Purchase Stamp Duty = $1,840
Rego and CTP = $1,094.26

Capital Cost for Vehicle Acquisition = $52,701.53

Lease company was ORIX and the dealer they got it from was McGrath Liverpool.

Yes it was R Line, Sunroof and Sound and Vision. So all 3 options for Highline.
Car is leased via my wifes work and they use ORIX.
My work uses NLC and ORIX were much better in terms of rate and purchase price when we did the comparison.

Back in Feb when we got the car the ORIX rep told me the rate was 2.9%
Ive looked on their portal where we track our expenses vs budget etc and it doesn't state the rate like a home loan would.

$63 K would be the retail price . Isnt this the one that was mentioned on here a couple of weeks ago for about $66k It looks like the same pic

Mats and towbar would be about $1500 depending on which towbar is fitted The blackout is just cosmetic and TBH would be the last colour I would have for a car in our climate.

Its far too dear at what you are saying

I paid $57250 for mine without a sunroof and so would have been $59 with one so thats all its worth

And also which dealer please as I’m also in QLD.

And I thought the R Line came standard with leather seats?

No was 2019 when they were scarce. I was lucky it was still in its transit packing when I asked about one
Yes Rline have leather standard.. $60k would be about right as about $3k more than a shorty

Was Northstar but I go to Cricks for Service as I live closer and they didnt have any at the time I bought

I had the opportunity to pick from what was available on the lot which was 4 (1 red, 1 silver and 2 white ) cars but none of them were the spec i wanted and i would of been paying MRRP for the privlidge.

It seems they are very short on stock atm, there were no SWB available and not 1 standard Golf to be seen ,

Dealer I’m dealing with clearly isn’t interested. Offered me towbar for free but that was it in terms of discounting off RRP. Wouldn’t budge from $64.2k for white allspace r line with S&V and towbar.

Thanked him for his time and moved on.
