Also any issues, and how many km's have you done since it was tuned?
The IS38 and downpipe will have that Tiggy moving QUICK. Will you upgrade the clutch for that one too, guess it's mandatory for that sort of power?
I'm still in a bit of disbelief that such huge gains are possible from only an ECU tune on the stage 1..VW Tiguan 162 TSI Highline w/ R-Line & DAP. Mods: OEM IS38 turbo, APR IS38 98 RON ECU tune, TVS Stage 2 + with custom TCU tune, APR Downpipe and resonator delete, APR turbo inlet, VWR turbo muffler delete, APR pendulum mount, APR dog bone insert, APR Open Pod Filter (MQB), RAMAIR intake tube, APR Red Ignition Coils, NGK R7437-9 Spark Plugs, DBA T3 slotted rotors front and T2 slotted rotors rear, ATE ceramic pads front and rear Vbox: 0-100 4.1s

I was looking into a dyno at one stage, but now saving my pennies for the next mod. I have used the dragy gps timer though and posted a 5.45s 0-100/h.VW Tiguan 162 TSI Highline w/ R-Line & DAP. Have had three cars with stage 1 APR and was/am very happy. Without it the Tiguan felt a bit dull and boring to drive. To be fair, I’m comparing it to an RS3, also tuned, of course.

Seems to think an extra 40Kw at the wheels should be achievable. Just waiting on my car to come back from the repairers and see how it is before deciding if I'll do it or not. Was sitting at a red light when someone decided to keep going and ran straight up the back, they were doing around 60Km when they hit, the car went under mostly, took out the rear black bumper, damage doesn't look to bad, but terrible vibrations driving afterwards. Smash repairer reckon it's the exhaust out of alignment... Anyway will share the results when I check in with Jordie next week unless the person is already on hereVW Tiguan 162 TSI Highline w/ R-Line & DAP. Power (kW) = Torque (N.m) x Speed (RPM) / 9.5488.
The above tells you that, should torque stay constant, power increases with RPM. To say that you want the same power across the rev range means you would need to keep dropping torque linear with the rev increase. Hardly desirable.
