    I’m not sure I totally believe the 0-100 for the JB4. APR claims 5.0 dead and 80-120 faster than a Mk7 Golf R.

    Wouldn’t think the JB4 was quicker.

    I suspect it may have been run on a slight downhill.

          APR stage 1. Just ECU tune. Stock hardware.

            im reading 350nm >500nm torque increase as well

              Had the APR stage 1 loaded a few weeks ago and it is impressive.

              Also installed a APR High flow turbo inlet pipe, ECS silicone turbo inlet hose, BMC air filter and removed the snow guard.

              Be keen to see the 0-100 now

                        Yes, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a second hand IS38 and fitted this today along with an APR 3” downpipe (DPK0021). I was able to reuse the VWR turbo muffler delete, APR turbo inlet, silicone intake sleeve and BMC filter. I have also enabled pops and crackles, as the downpipe also has a mid pipe section that replaces the resonator.

                        I have borrowed a VBOX, so I will post some 0-100 times when I get a chance.

                              • Nice work!!! Hope you got a later revision IS38. Did you get it balanced before fitting? Was this a standard IS38 or high flow version?
                                Standard IS38 off an S3. It is the revision H model which is recommended by APR and sorts out the earlier turbo failure issues.

                                Was that pops and crackles in the tune file or do you just get them with the mid-pipe/lack of resonator?
                                APR calls it pops and bangs, it’s a specific IS38 pops and bangs file.
