Hi all just to let you know DLA does not work in ECO mode. I went out testing again tonight and couldn't understand why only high beam assist was working only. I changed keys thinking this was the problem. This wasn't the problem. I then hit my individual mode and presto, DLA worked again. Very interesting as to why it doesn't work in ECO mode. I've got some video but I'll check them first to see if they are any good and worthy of uploading. Again the DLA works great. Would hate to see when these things break down in a few years though!

Hi kamold, I tried setting bit3 in byte 14 of a5 but still no go in keeping the ALG on permanently without having to keep giving the box. Any other suggestions?

My dealer is struggling. They’ve done the recall work(fuses) and when they did what they thought would reenable them(shouldn’t have ever been disabled according to their system...) nothing.

Yes. I couldn’t see them at first. But I’ve now found them. Still non-operational though.

Does anyone know how to reset dsg parameters for the Tiguan with obdeleven?

The various copies of how to do it in a mk7 golf aren’t compatible/convertible to the available options in the tiguan. It also never seems to be ‘ready’ to take reset commands.

So I just got off the phone with the dealer regarding DLA. He confirmed that the DLA is not coded to Wolfsburgs/Tiguans, nor can it be retrofitted in. He advised that the Allspace was built for the US market - of which is a required spec.

This is obviously incomplete information, as there are plenty of evidence with Euro non-Allspace Tiguans showing the DLA function.

When you say retro fitted, are you talking coded? The car already has the hardware installed so I’m hoping a quick coding will do the job

Yep, I mean a coding retrofit (according to the dealer). But encouraging to see some folks here already getting it to work. Although a video of it in action is still elusive!

A video would good to see that’s for sure! My OBDEleven and replacement battery for an old nexus 7 turned up today. Nexus is now working and ready for some coding fun. Just waiting for my car to arrive after it’s been treated for bugs in Singapore;(

Has anyone discovered a way to change the Max KW on the "Sport" screen yet? Mine is stopping at 162 kw, but since the same unit is used on the Golf R there must be some way to change it.
