It’s by design. The right hand high beam is disabled in auto mode, once you’re doing over 100kmh (speedo measured, not gps)
It’s meant to give you better light on motorways, where there is a barrier on the right, so no ‘need’ of extra vision. Yet you can still have the left side lit up, increasing vision.
Problem for me is it just looks jarring and makes the right side pitch black, as my eyes have adapted to the bright left side. Making the right side worse, than if I was on low beam all round.
Also there are stuff all motorways in SA, yet millions of 100-110kmh roads that are one lane in each direction.

Thanks for the explanation. I have an Allspace with DLA. Drove on the Hume Fwy last night and I didn’t notice. Will pay attention next time and flick from auto to manual high beam to see the difference.
Made some changed with my ODB11 with apps and adaptions and now my rear view camera / 360 camera will not display in reverse or if I push the parking button??? Sensors still beep
Only display settings I changed was adding 30 colour option... Help
