    Thanks for your reply Don.

    I'm actually using OBD11.

I looked through every line, and couldn't find find anything relating to "SAD", "Sunroof" or "Komfortoeffnen". I'm also hesitant to start activating/de-activating things randomly.

    I'll have another go tonight.

    Cheers,

    Dan

^^^^ Dan: it really does depend on the car's build year and as a consequence - what model BCM (the hex09 module) is fitted. There was a major re-write of the "Parent" names in the adaptation channel database for the BCM around mid 2016 and lots of stuff changed.

Also the name for the channel in your post looks like it came from a very old version of VCDS. Assuming that you are using VCDS - the modern SW no longer reports adaptation channel with leading number in parentheses. Now, these channels have a set of leading "Tag numbers" : one for each of the Parent and child names.

Of course, if you are using OBD11 - there are no parentheses, or Tag numbers

Instead of your channel (9) – Zugangskontrolle 2 – SAD Richtung Komfortöffnen auswählen- try looking for looking for ENG141632-ENG116645-Sunroof-SAD Richtung Komfortoeffnen

    Hi,

I've been trying to activate the Sunroof Opening/Closing With Remote Control using this coding:

    Sunroof Opening With Remote Control

Sunroof opens when holding down the unlock button on the key fob. Also closes when holding lock button.

Select Control unit 09 (Central Electrics)

    Security access

    Access Code 31347

    Adaptation

    (9) – Zugangskontrolle 2 – SAD Richtung Komfortöffnen auswählen

    Change to Active

    When I go into Adaptation, I can't find (9) – Zugangskontrolle 2 – SAD Richtung Komfortöffnen auswählen

    It simply isn't there.

Does anyone have any tips/assistance for me please? It's a 2017 Comfortline with DAP and Lux.

    Cheers,

    Dan

    Already my life is better.

    I'm running on an MY19.5 R-line SWB

I plan on enabling Dynamic Light Assist next, and see if I like the Reduced throttle delay

maybe dynamic roadsign display, though i'm not sure how this is meant to work?
My Highline is to be delivered Friday and I would like to do the same things, but that's all.
Does anyone in the Ballarat, Victoria region have a OBDEleven or VCDS who would be prepared to help me do these mods?

If you look in this thread you will get the latest map which came out on Nov22nd

OK, what am i doing wrong with trying to post my code.
I go advanced, select the #, then paste the code between the [] [].
My code is a full log, 42000 odd characters, is that the issue?

I just did exactly the same thing on the RT Forum, and it accepted my code. Maybe it’s a post count thing.

Hi all, i have an MY20 Tiguan Allspace Highline, S&V, R-Line.
I purchased a Ross-Tech cable and have been making a few changes.
    So far i have managed to do the following;

    Adaptation changes;
    IDE06419-Driving profile switchover
    ENG141649-ENG116587-Außenlicht_Blinker-Komfortblinken Blinkzyklen
    IDE04159-Deactivation of start-stop function - didn't work
    IDE12467-Tubes illustration
IDE05111-Fee-based traffic information (TMC) - yet to confirm if this worked
    IDE04158-Activation of start-stop function - this didn't work
    IDE06588-Ignition active message: actuator

    Long coding changes;
    Overtaking right prevention active
    Sat Nav initial disclaimer
    display volume to be replenished
    display acceleration

The one thing that i desperately want to change, is the stop/start function.
Does anyone with a new platform vehicle have a solution for this?
I looked for the temperature method, but couldn't find anything.

latest coding form the car below.

Tried to put in coding but website tells me it is too long.

    I hope that is right.
I have redone again and all appears to be working except the fault light assist in dash centre comes on when pushing stalk forward
I did originally use the app but had to reverse it as I had no high beam even pulling back the stalk for highbeam flash didn't work.
    Where are the ads?
    Thanks
Come on dont you do any research yourself Open the Wallet in the program and play around till you find out how

Hexadecimal always starts at 00 AFAIK

You are both getting definitions mixed up which can only lead to confusion

The bottom number is a BYTE which has a certain number of BITS which are the numbers in the top row..

Try to get it right or instructions will be incorrect

While it doesnt quite follow the protocol of 8 bits to a byte it is basically the same thing

    Bits and Bytes

Why didnt you just use the APP It works.

If you havent got enough credits Open the program every 24 hours and you get a free credit and if you open 5 ads you end up with 6 credits a day. Ive got 630 ATM for virtually doing nothing.
