I'm new to this forum and I just placed an ordered for the Tiguan wolfsburg edition oryx white with roof, boot linear and tinted window for $60K drive away. But my dealer will found out tomorrow if I can secure one from a Queensland dealer tomorrow.
I'm thinking of doing some little mod and does anyone know if the VW R600 intake will fit on the tiguan ?

Nice! I love the Oryx white.
And yes the R600 intake fits the Tiguan, however you'll need to check that the stock air intake you have doesn't have a MAF sensor installed. According to Harding Performance who imports these intakes, there's some newer versions of the Tiguan with a different manufacturer ECU installed and these have a MAF sensor in the intake pipework. If you have one of these then they don't recommend using the R600 intake.
I'd suggest waiting until you take delivery before purchasing an intake,
I’ll run it in first before I start shopping the intake. Unfortunately oryx white won’t be available for me as the Queensland dealer won’t release their stock to my dealer. Have to go for black colour which is my wife first choice and estimate delivery. Counting down now. Any advice or comment about this Wolfsburg edition ? Is it better revalue in value compare to R line ? Because they dealer asked me to do a guarantee buy back for $29k with $300 a month repayment most likely I walk away with no equity with this car after 4 years.

Our 2018 my18.5 Rline fully optioned came in at 26k in 4 years. So I guess VW assumes it will hold a little more value for the wolf badge

How does the finance work? You pay $300/month for 4 years ($14400?) and can then pay it out for another $29K. So total paid $43,400 for $60k car to own outright?
I am obviously missing something so please excuse my ignorance if you can explain.

Trade in value or a deposit?
But yes, the choice program has a buy back value but also acts as a balloon payment at the end of the term.
So either hand the car back and walk away, or finance the remainder through your own finance if you want to keep it or lastly, sell it privately for more and pay out the remaining amount.

I traded in my A5 Sportback for $30k, deposit $20k and took 4 years/$40k GFV $29k at 2.99%.
i was going to change it to $18k residual $520 a month repayment but assumed my car only worth $19k under 40000km and still walk away with no equity so may as well keep the repayment low and put the extra $200 to my home loan, works out around the same but the cash is my pocket. I’ll pay $29k to keep the car.
