Thanks Glad, not quite sure when mine was handed over to production as I believe this is different to the production week info I did have.

Any of the other forum members who received the email Saturday have a VIN yet? there was about 3 or 4 of us.

No VIN yet. Was told mine would be handed over to production today. So will check next week with dealer.

ARSE! Just had my monthly update from the dealer and my expected ETA has now dropped to mid October. At the time of ordering in late Feb, I was told mid July, then it slipped to mid Aug and now mid October. The only upside, it might be a MY18 at this rate.

Damn. That's terrible. Oh well...the wait period is usually 6-8 months from order especially if you got 162 with dap, sunroof, rline it is longer. I ordered mine in December and ETA is July, the wait is killing me!

Ordered mine back in July last year (fully loaded R-Line), now sitting on the Glorious Leader which has just docked in Melbourne...will be shortly on route to Port Kembla so still a couple of weeks away.

And starts production week22 which starts May 29, and its my18, so l would think yours will be my18 too

Well this was meant to be a car that the dealer already had on order, so not sure about the slippage of now 3 months, unless they had only just placed their order right before I committed to buying it.

Yeah I wonder how that works, if the dealer had already placed an order, for what have should have been an MY 17 car, but if their slot to build that car slips into the MY 18 range, do VW just build them all from a certain date as the new model??

Well some small comfort then, not that I have paid attention to the differences in MY 17+18. An extra 50 horse on the MY18 would have been nice.
