Cruel, cruel barstewards! Just saw an email come from VW Australia and I am instantly like "its the I am built" email - hurrah! Rushed to open it and its just the same VW welcome to the family marketing blurb I had nearly 3 months ago. No update or anything - bugger!!

Bugger, give the dealer a call asking for an update and why you got the welcome email again 3 months later?

Just checked and received the welcome email from my initial and now cancelled order that was with another dealer.....

Well I've finally placed my order!

MY18 162 w/DAP + Rline! (decided against pano)

I want to adjust the order to come with euro plates and have been trawling the forum looking for a definitive answer..

Will both the slimline and standard euro plate fit the car as standard? without needing to drill / plug anything?

Also.. has anyone got any photo's of their tigs with the plates on? I don't know if i want both slim or std front and slim back?

Mini - 372mm (w) x 100mm (h)

You are going to drill pretty much in the middle of the plate if no mounting plate is used.

Full size euros do not come with any holes, I think its the same with NSW.

TheTig if you are going full size euros and do not want to drill any holes in them you can PM me as I have a pair of Kingpin casing for them for sale

I just got a welcome email as well - 3 months after I got the original email from when I first ordered. It has a different tracking number imbedded in the URL.

I haven't cancelled my order or anything like that. I hope my dealer didn't sell my Original order to someone else and then put a new order in the system in my name?

On the up side maybe they have converted my MY17 order into an MY18 order which generated a new tracking number?

Anybody else gets new welcome email today?

I must say the communication is poor regardless of the cause.
