I have ordered/received my New Tiguan

Went down to the dealership this morning and they already had the car in the wash bay. Came back a few hours later and the car just needs the plates put on it and ready to go! I pick up tomorrow lunchtime.

Must say how exciting, car looks mint. Don't know if anyone else has done it but have been considering debadging mine, the Tiguan, 2.0 TSI and 4 motion badges. Would make it very clean from the rear.

I got mine done before picking it up. Much prefer the cleaner look and makes it easier to clean.

i think you have the solution. You retain your car until you have a VIN and departure date from Bremerhaven. Once you know that any delays will be relatively minor an extra day or two greeting from zfremantle to the dealer- that sort of thing

Yeah thats a good point,all the factory delays will be over by then. I should not have to accept all the farking around that VW might make,the dealer should take part of it as well.

Also received my email today from VW, mine was ordered back in July 2016, anyway, she's on the Glorious Leader which left Bremerhaven on 23/3/17 (have my VIN) which is currently off the west coast of South Africa (currently out of range) and due on Port Kembla on the 5/5/17 so long as the pirates don't get her. Grab your VIN and track from here and then go and find her from here

Ask your dealer for the VIN, they will have it now that the car has been built (and shipped). From there you can find out what ship it is on here: https://www.2wglobal.com/webapps?fra...uickSearchPage. Enter the VIN in the cargo ID field.
