Didn't even think to update everyone until I saw a post in the Tiguan Facebook Page. I am all held up by the intercooler. Some crap between performance brand and Wagner and now I'm having to wait for Performance Brands shipment to arrive. Even though we went direct, they told Performance Brands to give me the one they had but they didn't have one or something. Anyway, it'll be the Monday after it comes. To think sorting out the turbo was my biggest concern..

Any issues with the install or was it pretty smooth sailing ? Bit of a pain with IC arriving late, have you done any tuning or are you waiting for the IC?

We're both waiting on Wagner intercoolers... Tristan thought he was going to short-cut the process by getting it from overseas but it's now coming through the Australian agent. So he's in the same boat as me waiting for the agents stock to arrive.

My turbo is here now but I still have a few more parts to collect so he still may beat me to it.

That is very impressive! Are you thinking about the hybrid route or looking for an RS3FL?

Great numbers but I'm still a little concerned how late these come on. Seen this with a few tuners that they really only on full boost at 4,000rpm.

based on that torque curve, the boost is probably "all in" i.e. at the boost threshold by 3.5k~3.7k

Then again, is that real RPM or derived RPM on that dyno

I've seen the same sorts of curves from other tuners using the same/similar turbo.

Who knows if it's "corrected" RPM based on roller RPMs.

That torque curve seems to drop off quickly after 4500 rpm....maybe the person should have gone a hybrid IS38 rather than hybrid IS20....
