Also keen to do the Golf R Muffler swap for the looks and sound.


Brakes are also a consideration but I'll look into that more after all this lot is done.

Nice spec BeeDub. Did your tuner customise to what your wanting to achieve or you selected? When are you getting this all installed?
Will be interesting to compare our results from our builds, since both are being installed by Etuners but yours has some nice extras.

My car is off the road for 6 weeks because of some 19 year old female P plater running into the back of me..waiting on some parts to arrive from Germany...

Interesting to see where the snail makes its power in the rpm range. Is it the 550hp version or 460hp? Doing cooler, plugs, coils etc. also?

It's the 480hp IS38 Hybrid. Doing the works apart from the coils as Gordie advised the stock is fine to use with the RS7 plugs.

Me too!! Gordie said it may take slightly longer due the ECU having newer software, so will work on problematic issues and resolve. May take a few attempts.

Rear bar, tailgate need to be replaced which are available in Aus, parts for rear frame also needing to be replaced which need to come from Germany... As it happend right before EOFY everyone was busy so was delayed.

Just checked out your dyno run. 265kw atw is pretty nuts, looks like the torque kicks in at 4000rpm and holds till 5500rpm. How does it drive? Keen to hear your review.....Damian should be getting an updated file soon

Yes mate, 266.5 @ wheel is mental! Really pleased with the outcome and power delivery. I getba little torque steer when boost kicks in then hold on!!

I took it for a 100km run this morning and goes great, words can't express the delight except the dodgy grin on my face!
I took a quick clip sussing it out in M and D modes, I will post this to my thread a bit later today.

Did you talk to Gordie about setting up different maps, low and high boost?

In my skyline I had this low boost 250kw@wheels, high boost 335kw@wheels, made everyday driving so much better on low boost without having to be worried about the rear coming loose at the wrong time when running on high boost all the time.

Just chiming in here.. Mrs bought a tiguan 162. Had it for 2 years, didn't love it so I got it. She upgraded to a different car.

So I just gave the bluefin a go.. have to say the difference is amazing. Out of all the cars I've owned (a lot of old school a new school jap and euro) the increase from just the tune in the tiggy could potentially be the most pronounced/impressive change I've seen or felt from a single mod, which I find ridiculous for an SUV. Golf R I got in the 12s with a bluefin running on 19s with no DSG mods so I believe in there tunes.

Very happy although I find just cruising is a bit harder now.

Tiggys car looks very impressive and it has me thinking IS38.. still going to wait before I take it up any further..
