Yeah I can see that's what a typical dyno chart shows but why is the manufacturer quoted spec for the car 1850rpm for peak torque?
No idea. This is the dyno chart for the previous edition turbo (TTE470) which is very similar to what I've got sitting in the box. Obviously not my car but I'm hoping it's going to be very similar:
It should hit peak torque around 3,000rpm and hold it pretty well until redline. Fingers crossed...
Eh tigger73 you have done big job dismantling your sportline .If you have just now somewhere on side in box ready Full led high model headlights , as hardest job needed for this retrofit looking your last picture is already done.
Now would be easy to swap and built in, just more to remove front wheels and plastic arch guards and in same time doing this cooler retrofit .You could make your Tig even more beautiful and high tech functional

I had the front headlights out so doing a swap would have been relatively easy.
Though not sure the high functionality LED lights have different connectors/additional wiring??
For me the intercooler was a full day job so didn’t want to add more jobs to the list. Taking the front bar and headlights out isn’t too bad to be honest.
Only one minor issue trying to find the connector for the collision sensor. Eventually found it underneath the intake inlet. Of course if I didn’t have an aftermarket intake installed it would have made it a lot easier finding it!
I am joking , but yes the half the way as you already take of the headlight , but installing and replacing is lots of pain and skills, rewiring additional wires connectors work and extra hardware module BCM, Rear levelling sensors change, programing ...

At this stage I'm concentrating on performance mods only. I will do some cosmetic upgrades later on to keep myself amused but for now my time/$ are going into the foundation. Add the icing later
Initial feedback is that the intercooler hasn’t effected the low end performance at all and bum dyno says it’s quicker at the top end.
I’ll get it on the road on the weekend (hopefully get a coolish morning) and run some 0-100’s. I suspect it may be in the 5’s now... and only with hardware mods.

Nice one. Good to hear low end performance isn’t afffected. Interested in whether there are any 0-100 improvements, probably more noticeable with a tune/turbo swap. How much was the IC landed including taxes?

Yes I was concerned that the larger volume would cause a delay in boost coming on but seems no real difference. Certainly not noticeable when driving.
The top end is definitely freer and feels like it wants to go now / run a lot more freely at higher rpms.
I sourced this from the local distributor (Performance Brands Group) but it was shipped direct from Germany.
I agree engine and drivetrain is most fun, the rest is only convince and cosmetic .
I will be watching your project, will be interesting how much power you will be able to get once whole tune project is finished
I wish I could try some tune on my CZPA but this is latest EA888 engine with budac cycle and not really much tune for this ECU locally available ,except to go external tune boxes . I am happy for now with some coding and get used to get bit more .
