Maps update

getting checksum error yesterday. 40gb free harddisk space and 32gb sd card formatted as Fat32.

Yeah - same happens with plenty of free hdd space and a 64gb sd card. Suspect their software is comparing two different files - hence also why they've taken down the discovercare downloadable exe. Would have thought this would be pretty simple code they're maintaining.

But anyway, as Hillbilly says, go the direct link for the downloadable.

Have got it downloading through Discover Care 1.04 now will update later with results

You have to format cards in FAT 32 not an easy thing to do without a 3rd party software for a 64GB card

WINDOZE wont do it 5PM DOWNLOADED AND GOT A CHECKSUM ERROR

First time ever and have previously downloaded earlier maps with same program without troubles so weird


Redid it with Discover Care and got the checksum error again so best just use the direct link I think


Direct downloaded from the portal and Win RAR says the file is corrupt so I give up

Use 7zip to unrar the file. Winrar has been dodgy of late extracting certain files. 7zip is much better.

Been using it forever and NEVER had any trouble Its not the unzipper its Discover Care or the map file that has the problem as it unzips the Skoda version perfectly and its the same map with a different file name

Hi Guys

I took delivery of a new comfort-line yesterday which was a 07/20 build and it came with ver. 079

using the link in this thread with the file HIGH12_P88_ROW_202022.zip upgraded to ver. 088 no issues first time with a 64Gb SD card formatted to fat32 (16k clustersize) and using SD1 slot in glove box

I did the same with mine, it was brand new and had 79. I used a spare 200gb card from a phone in an adaptor, formatte to exfat and it worked no trouble.

I have never used the onboard maps and not sure when I will but it's nice I guess in case I ever need it.

2021 P90 maps

Well it is that time of year again (end of week 45) where Skoda releases the latest map updates for Discover Pro before Volkswagen.

Edit: Surprised to find that the new Northconnex was there, that is the motorway opened between the M1 and M2 along Pennant Hills Road in Sydney that opened end Oct 2020.

Hi, update done also. Quick one, did not realise that the new map update deletes any personal POIs you loaded, not a big thing to replace, just wanted all to be aware. Huge thnaks for the link to the downlaod, Cheers

Didnt seem to affect mine but I loaded up the NOV POI file anyway and just looks the same. However I dont have any personal POIs added at all. Rarely use them as it seems QLD is a bit forgotten.

Im still using the June update and noticed it straight away as I drive “over” it almost everyday
