They are still led tail lights just not the same as the hatch my dealership showed me the broucher that came today and i saw the fine print down the bottom and states please note the wagon models will come with led tail lights slightly darker than normal and hatches will come with dynamic lighting

I'm led to believe the wagons (both regular R and Wolfs) have fake quad exhaust outlets (only 2 work).

The carbon mirrors will be interesting for bugs haha looks flat coloured aka real carbon not gloss.. so will stain really easy too thank you warranty haha

On the R wagon ? The R hatch has 4 working exhausts, but all the info I've seen indicates the R wagon has only 2 working (unless they have changed it for the 7.5 revision). Or is that on the (ultra expensive) performance option Akrapovic exhaust ?

7.5 wagon has 4 functioning pipes. It doesn't have flaps.

Dynaudio, carbon look leather seats, carbon mirror caps, pretoria wheels limited badging 300 hatches 300 wagons. Can be had for between 61 and 65k drive away.

Ok thanks for that, should I get the wolfburg, or just normal R..... I am not quite ready to order yet (another few months off) wonder if the wolfburgs in 7.5 will all be sold if I wait? Hard to know.

Not sure if they are sold out or not. Dynaudio might be an option on the my18 golfs, as its an option on every other golf, and probably just a ploy to sell the wolfys. Suppose it comes down to how much you like the wheels, the pretorias are a very expensive option but can be had for 1.5 - 2k 2nd hand. If you aren't in a hurry you could probably get an R mid 2018 for 55k.

The Wolfsburg differentiates itself from the regular Golf R with grey metallic 19-inch alloy wheels, carbon fibre wing mirrors, ‘carbon’ Nappa leather-appointed upholstery, a 400W sound system, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring with rear-cross traffic alert and dynamic light assist.

Some of these are available on a the regular R as extra cost options, others are (for now) exclusive to Wolfsburgs.

Yeah, I spoke with my dealer about it today and they agreed VW will probably allow it as an option on the regular R's when the Wolfies prod run ends.

I really like the Pretorias and would love the Dynaudio but I don't think I'm going to wait. The Speilburgs have grown on me and I don't hate the 'standard' audio system.

The Dynaudio alone is a worthy addition had it on my MK6 sold it to my brother and missed it when I bought my last R, any wonder there's a scramble for Wolfsburgs. I think it will become an option on regular Rs

Probably forgot something others can add, pretty much at the same price as the 7 R a bargain.

I can't think of another car with this performance and equipment for the price. The only negative if your using it as a daily driver and your in the city expect around 10L / 100 Km extra urban country expect 7-8L / 100 Km so 1-2 L/100 Km more than a GTI
