I think this has been covered before, but can anyone tell me what type of LED's will fit the front map and rear map/dome lights? Thanks!

I hope so I bought two sets one for my mk6 and one for my mk7 .... After having to repair wheels which costs several hundred dollars thanks to the wife and Er myself I would rather buy these ... I researched multiple different types and these look the best....very easy to fit and won't damage the wheels

Has anyone put LEDs into the existing rear lights?
I know you can get replacement LED lights as in the GTI Performance and R, but I have seen some examples in the US of LEDs in the original rear light cluster and that light pattern in a diffused sort-of LED looks quite good. I imagine it would also be a lot cheaper and wouldn't have any risk of throwing up a coding error.MY14 MK VII GTI | Pure White | Manual | Bi-Xenons (his)

Heat colouring S/S is also common in knife making, I've done it a few times.
