  • Geezus is there any rubber between the rim and road?

    Comment

    • I'm taking a stab at 20 inch with a little stretch, which on that angle/shadow exaggerates the lack of rubber to the road.

Or as the motor mags like to reference such a profile - rubber bands.

Nice work - that's the second set of local (Australian) Mk7s on this thread alone running the Audi Rotors.

Would love some more shots posted when you can, maybe front and rear three quarter and perhaps a profile shot to show guard clearance etc.

ID:	1812616 At current height which was a 30mm drop no issues with rubbing even with 4 passengers , wheel offset is et 45 Which seems to be a nice fit for the 7, it appears that the mk7 has more room for larger fittments

Yes agree there - the Mk7 guards are definitely much roomier, particularly in the rear compared to Mk6.

How are you finding the ride quality on the Eibachs compared to stock GTI?

Where'd you source genuine rotors from? Look brilliant!

A different approach to wheels, but pretty effective - the LR wheels are 5x120 so the car is running adapters/spacers making the estimated specs somewhat a moot point.

                      • Ride is slightly firmer but we'll worth the upgrade

                          • Just to add to. I think the ride may also be firmer due to 19's be fitted have used HR previously on 997 carrera found them quiet harsh and rigid that's why I opted for these . So far so good it's an incredible motor car with a great chassis
