Loving this thread.

I ordered Oz Racing Ultraleggeras in 19x.8.5 ET 47 and KW DDC Coilovers for my MK 7 Golf R.

Now that I've seen a few examples here I'm beginning to think if my offset will look aggressive enough. Not wanting anything too out there but a flush stance would be great. Hmmm...thoughts?

I found that 19x8.5 +44 is perfect offset for the back of the car, on the front I have about 5mm poke. So +47 should be close to flush.

Thanks for the reply! Hmm..don't think the ozracing wheels I ordered come in +44 unfortunately. Looks like I may need spacers in the rear.


What wheels did you go for if you don't mind me asking?

Another replica design by Hartmann (think Rotiform BLQ, BBS RXR) available in the USA for around $1,100 USD (but requires a US credit card and billing address to buy direct). This wheel uses OEM bolts and can take the VW centre cap as an alternative.

A little more love for some Oettinger gear.. must admit while I'm not a body kit guy these days I'd be sorely tempted to mock up an R with something along these lines. These are the RS wheels.
