Ordered our Lapiz Blue R with DSG, Leather, Sunroof and DA yesterday. What's the average waiting time?

I only waited for two weeks, thats only because the car was almost in melbourne (on the ship) and wasn't sold already.

We don't need ours until Feb, but was curious as to how long ex factory they will be.

From what people on here are saying is that it can take anywhere from 3-6 months.
I've got the exact same spec as yours and its a great car.

If yours is a factory order it should be right about on the money for Feb delivery. I ordered mine in May and it's due to arrive in Melbourne in the next 3-4 weeks. Then obviously the dealer will do their thing, so 5-6 months is about right.

Ordered a stock standard white GTI on 19 July and I picked it up on Friday 21 Sept - draped in a nice cover It's a brilliant car and I'm very happy with it, but the pronunciation of street names by the satnav system is an absolute shocker!

This system is about to get very rare though apparently was introduced in small numbers.... and VW has pulled it again from what I understand. If you want one I would chase now..
