      Not really, just a more available tyre and a bit cheaper as well.

      The guys from Jax here in Mackay suggested it.

        I spoke to my VW service depart and they called Bridgestone and confirmed 245 on the Golf R rim will work.

          That would be fine - it's barely a 1% change in circumference.
