Man, that kinda sucks. I mean it's good it's in standard price but cloth is so much better. Leather just fades and is so prone to wear and tear in the long run plus it appears to look cheaper then mk6

    • Really? My 2006 GTI leather seats were in great condition when we traded it in. Expect no different for the R but time will tell. Plus my leather couch is also still in great condition...doesn't stain either.

      • I must admit that I had decided early on that I didn't like the leather enough to buy it as an option as I preferred the 2-tone cloth seats. However, having it as standard is nice. Every car I've owned since 2010 has had leather and it's much easier to look after with kids than cloth seats.

I was sitting at the traffic lights before in a lit intersection due to it being dark waiting to turn right, I look in my rear vision mirror and say to myself that looks like an R. I keep following it and as it passes me my jaw dropped, I don't believe it was modified or anything, but it was pure white and so freaking clean. It definitely looked to have had some quality paint protection done on it. As it went through the intersection all the lights around just further enhanced the look of it and the Cadiz rims looked excellent. Made me want a pure white one. It was so striking! I still love my limestone grey choice, but wow. That white was super nice.

Cor! That was quick. I'm up for buying one and would have been interested.

Interestingly, why the sale so soon after you got it? Were you not happy with what it did?

Yeah it was snapped up pretty much immediately.

It wasn't my JB1 that I was selling actually. A friend of mine sold his S3, and the new buyer was an older gent who didn't want the JB1, so I sold it for him. I still have mine, and still love it!

My mate upgraded to a 2016 AMG C63 S Shooting Brake. Those things sound incredible. The downshift crackles and pops are so addictive. Getting back into my car, it sounds like a whipper snipper by comparison

Yeah, a C63 is on my wish list because of that noise. My office used to be next to the Brisbane AMG dealer so I would hear them being moved around all the time!

                      • Check video above personally had the JB1 for six months and 6000Km can't fault it fantastic drive average economy 7.9 L/100Km in default map1 only adds boost above 2500 so you can drive like stock if you wish and can be removed for service unlike flash tunes which can be traced
