Golf GTI Edition 35

I picked my Edition 35 up on Tuesday morning and am absolutely loving it! I've got the DSG but have been driving in the manual mode 90% of the time. So far I've only had the chance to drive to and from work and have a wedding on the weekend so won't get to drive it much but can't wait to give it a decent run! Mine is black and the wheels make it look unbelievable.

Great to hear your loving it. Yeh it's addictive to run it in manual mode. Funny I was just like you when I picked my car up. All I wanted to do was drive it but so much was going on at the time I didn't really get the chance for the first couple of weeks. Even the wife felt sorry for me. Sounds like you you have a nice ride there, have you posted any pics yet?

Im liking these ED35's. They look nice. And im so glad VW has gone away from the standard GTI mags - i hate them.

There is a ED35 at Kloster VW in Newcastle for sale if anyone is interested. Saw it today when i popped in. Its red, with sat nav, DSG, and the grey wheels. Not sure of other options as i just had a quick glimpse (was in a rush).

Looks gorgeous in red.

if the gti ed35 came in a white 3dr manual, i would be jumping all over it, but unfortunately, not in oz. ill have to slum it with what i have

I am seriously considering a 35ed ... Would consider an R but my research so far is telling me that it'd be an extra 7k in price and 6+ months in wait... >.<

I've one question though - does the Manual 35ed also have a golfball gearstick?

Pretty crucial consideration.

Gotta say, those wheels look friggin awesome. Best on any Golf. I think I even prefer them to the bbs ch rims. I'm jealous.

They're definitely the best wheels for a current GTI, and try look better in real life than they do in photos
