Well my saga in securing one of these babies involved signing up for 2 different ones. First one was CW manual no options because I thought it was the last one available in Perth. It was $48k driveaway. THEN I found an unspoken for DSG at another dealership...after much begging and...ok I'll admit it...maybe there was a few girly tears...my fabulous dealer principle managed to get the other DP who who is a mate of his - to agree to a swap. This one is fully optioned and is $10k more at $58k driveaway. The way I understand it is they came into the country as either fully optioned with the leather, roof, wheels & nav - or no options at all (besides DSG).

Yes you are right about the 35 options, and glad to hear you got the DSG, you wont be dissapointed.. unless you stay in here too long

Haha I love it! Believe those poor guys will be so glad so see the back of me when it's finally delivered...I felt so bad with what I put them through that after they managed to get me what I wanted I bought THEM top shelf drops! Presently they are enjoying the daily chorus of 'is it here yet?????' 'but it's been in the local holding yard for 2 weeks!!!'
They've been very gracious in loaning me a near new golf tsi to use (as my car was sold and is gone) so I'm happy about that at least...will REALLY notice the extra 80kw when I finally get my baby!
